New Seedling Garden

Tilled a new seedling bed this weekend, plus expansion area for some of our mature plants.  Putting up new split rails as a backdrop to this garden area.

Soil Testing in the Gardens

Conducted soil tests this weekend at the NC gardens.  We have some fertilizing to do - and soon!

A favorite bloom in the Garden

Here is a beautiful plant we bought at the plant auction during the 2010 National Daylily Show in Valdosta, GA.  We are looking forward to having this plant in our garden for years to come.

Spring Gardening - Getting Ready!

We are underway with another garden expansion at our daylily garden in western North Carolina.  This will be a signifigant addition and will serve as our first seedling bed - we are going to undertake hybridizing this year for the first time!  I will post pictures soon.
